SANA’A, April 01 (Saba) – Washington supports Yemen for its realization the economic growth and good governance weaken the role of al-Qaeda and other terrorist powers, U.S official said on Sunday.

This came by Counterterrorism Coordinator at the U.S. Department of State Daniel Benjamin during his meeting with Minister of Information Ahmed Ali al-Amrani who affirmed that US would continue supporting Yemen, particularly in the current circumstances of Yemen.

The two officials discussed cooperation sides between Yemen and U.S in counterterrorism area via joint media coordination.

For his part, the minister made reference to the growing danger of al-Qaeda in the local arena that threatening the region’s security and stability.
